MEET OUR PASTOR
Ronnie Young Jr.
Pastor Ronnie is a humble servant of Jesus Christ, shaped by his upbringing in the Bettis Academy community. From an early age, God developed his gifts in music, leading him to play the piano and later the bass guitar in service to the church. While music was a meaningful part of his ministry, it ultimately pointed him toward a greater calling.
Obedient to God’s voice and the leading of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Ronnie accepted his call to preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He delivered his first sermon on January 12, 1997, at Science Hill Baptist Church in Trenton, South Carolina, declaring God’s Word with faithfulness and conviction.
By God’s divine order, Pastor Ronnie was elected Pastor of Antioch Missionary Baptist Church on September 1, 2010, and was installed in December 2010. Since that time, he has sought to shepherd God’s people with a heart for Christ, a commitment to sound doctrine, and a desire to glorify God in all aspects of ministry.
